Audi E Tron GT Prestige Susuka Grey on a Red Interior. Performance, full leather interior, executive, and 21 inch wheel packages included
MSRP: $125,865
Monthly: $1082
DAS: $1090 (first month’s payment)
Breakdown:
Rebates: $27k (12.5k customer cash, 7.5k EV, 5k Costco, 2k Penfed)
Discount: 9% off MSRP (11.3k) Was originally 11.2% (14k) but $2.7k in dealer extras (tint, paint, safety kit) reduced the discount
Acquisition fee: $895
Doc & gov fees: $373 in title and doc fees
Other fees: $899 for Audi care (boosted the residual by 1% and reduced payment by $9 a month) and $1094 in L&M tax credit fees (Texas specific fee where they reduce sales tax to 1.25% with tax credits )
Money Factor was buy rate .00310 and residual was 62% with Audi Care boost
The payment on this deal isn’t as low as some of the others I’ve seen, but the MSRP is much higher and it’s a Prestige trim with a lower residual.
I think I pushed the limits of what was possible for this model/MSRP. Most dealers wouldn’t stack Costco + Penfed which would kill the deal or they did but the discount wasn’t above 7%.
The dealer stacked all the rebates to a total of $27k, did 9% of MSRP, and included Lender tax credits to drop the Texas tax rate from 6.5% → 1.25%. The discount off MSRP was originally 11.2% but they included $2.7k of dealer add-ons that made it 9%. At least it included getting the windows tinted and a safety kit. The deal was already pretty good, so I didn’t fight them on the $2k diamond protection package. Does anyone know if that actually does anything?
My other option was flying to Virginia overnight and having to deal with shipping/registration. It would’ve been a (110k) E Tron GT P+ for $945 a month with none of the nice packages and at least another $1600 in shipping, hotels, and flights. The extra $1640 over 24 months felt worth it to save my time and get all the extra features in the Prestige trim.
