Ok, so it is based on CC of about 72K. Otherwise it’d be about 1500 total.

MSRP on the car is $119K. Its a non-RS …not sure really how DMW fees works…

MSRP is non-factor or you’d be looking at another $500 per year.

Thank god…with all the taxes we pay here in Cali…I’m all taxed out. Not to mention insurance cost.

Well done! Tried a similar deal in PA with a loaded GT. Couldn’t get under $1400, but that was with $0 down. MSRP was $121k

What discount off MSRP were you offered?
What rebates do you qualify for?

The following comment is not directed at you, btw.

I am sure folks are trying to replicate this deal, so let me point out a few obvious things:

  • OP put up nearly $10k upfront to cover 1st month, all fees, taxes, and MSDs.
  • This deal was for 24 months @ 7.5k miles per year.
  • This deal includes $5k in Costco rebates + $2k in Penfed rebates on top of the rebates that everyone qualifies for.

Happy hunting!

They gave me a pretty big discount. I think it was about 20 grand off list. It would’ve been a really good deal if I was in the market for a $1400 a month lease. I was using a standard discount plus the Costco rebate. Where was the other $5000 up front? I couldn’t follow all the numbers but I thought it said $5200 due at signing.

Can you translate that for a newbie?

MSDs = Multiple Security Deposits
It helps you buy down the Money Factor. You get the deposit back at the end of your lease. There is more detailed information on this site and online. Hope this info helps.

Ah, thanks. I did read about negotiating the security deposits. Didn’t connect that to the money factor. Neat trick.

Look at deals for this make and model in Share Deals & Tips and click on the LH calculator link when it’s posted.

Remember that each lease hack has two elements:

A. Zero sum: discount from the dealer. Obviously there is a limit to how much they will give up.

B. Not: rebates from OEM and third parties, MSD, Audicare, etc.

Wow, that is an insane deal I definitely want exactly what you got. I am in Orange County. Can you give me the info for the salesman you worked with? I can pull the trigger right away if they are interested.

Do you already have Costco Auto Certificate? Pen Fed? Otherwise, that’s $7000 you won’t be able to take advantage of.

If you do, reach out to broker Sam @autopia to see if he has any left (doubtful as these deals are for 2023).

There are brokers and dealers offering 9%+ off MSRP. You just need to search the Marketplace for posted deals.

How’s your insurance ?? Also is it worth getting the Audi care for a lease on these ??

AC costs $899. 1% RV bump is $11984 so it’s well worth it.

I called my State Farm agent to ask- $75 more/month over my regular eTron SUV.

That’s who I have too… I’ll give them a call and see what they say ha
