The DAS was first month’s payment and roughly $600 cap cost reduction. I did this because I just wanted the payment to be in the $450 range, not the most rational, but a personal decision.

The transaction was in VA which means sales tax is levied on the full selling price and paid up-front. The taxes, acquisition, doc fee ($500), and government fees were all rolled into the lease. No MSDs.

Great deal, -22% for a 2021 Inscription. Please share details on November S60 promotion, how did you find details? Do figures include VA taxes or a separate fee?

The post-incentive discount isn’t really a good measure of if this was a good deal or not. The 11.5% pre-incentive discount is a much better indicator of this being done well.

Sure, the S60 promotion actually ends today. Purchase or lease of any new 2020/2021 S60 for a current Volvo owner/lessee yields an additional $1500 rebate on top of the $500 regular loyalty rebate. It ran/runs from 11/13/2020 to 11/30/2020 if I’m not mistaken and was called the “mid-atlantic” rebate so perhaps just for this area.

The figures are inclusive of all taxes and fees.

Nice deal. I thought Penfed can only be used at invoice pricing though?

did you go trough a broker to get that deal?

I wasn’t aware of any restriction like that. I just said I was a PenFed member, they asked for my code, and that was it!

Nope! Just a few emails. They did reference that it was “a slow month” and hence why they agreed.
