There have obviously been a myriad of postings on this topic during the current end of year 2020 holiday LT1 madness (and Ive already posted on this in others threads), but I wanted to post a copy of the lease sheet (as I now have it) for others. As many have noted, the way these leases get structured can be hard to follow.
In the case of mine, it appears that I have made the first payment, and provided additional cash down at signing, neither of which is the case. The actual drive off amount was $0. (This is why the effective monthly is $331 and not $339 as shown on the lease as the first payment was rolled in, along with everything else). They are also showing a negative trade balance as well, but this is also not the case (as I have another doc showing the trade is a wash, so they are just moving money around). Also not shown is the additional “protection package” for $499, which they added at the last minute and at the same time as adding it noted that they were not charging for it
Nothing changed on the financials, and I have no use for that package anyway, so whatever theyve gotta do to hit their targets is fine ![]()
Note that the apparent discount prior to incentives is not in line with what others have achieved (at 11% it is excessively high), but as this is FL, there are other ways (via dealer fees) for the dealer to make up for that. Again, there are many ways to get to the desired end result, and how a dealer gets there to best benefit themselves is of no real concern. I want them to come out as positively as they can as well (as long as we are getting a competitive deal of course).
Year, Make, Model, and Trim: 2021 Chevrolet Camaro LT1
MSRP: $39,475
Selling Price: $35,150.26
Monthly Payment: $339.79 including 7% tax
Drive-Off Amount: $0

MF: Havent reversed that out of the lease yet conclusively since I dont really care. EDIT - But, if I simply throw all of the amount shown as DAS and subtract out the $1500 rebate (i.e. show dealer fees in the calc as ~$675) under “dealer fees” and also do not show the $1500 rebate in the rebate section of the calculator to make things reconcile, the MF comes out to almost exactly base of 0.00028, but maybe they marked it up a little bit…not 100% sure.
Residual: 64%
Incentives: $1500, plus GM Supplier (unknown how dealer applied this, but they definitely did as I have the GM Supplier code verification sheet showing GM’s acceptance of the supplier code )
Region: FL
