Been a Leasehackr member for the past 5/6 years or so. Leased a bunch of cars in the past for my family and me, and incredibly grateful for how helpful and thoughtful this community has been.

Worked pretty hard on this one with four different dealerships in the SoCal area to get this done. My local dealer down the street quoted me a 6.5% discount pre-incentives for a custom-build. Ended up working with a dealer ~20 miles away who had a near-perfect model I wanted (Black, M-Sport, & Premium) and was very aggressive. After three weeks of negotiating before the car was even delivered to the dealership (came in yesterday), they finally came back at an 11.7% discount pre-incentives.

My last 2018 330i was a $47,XXX MSRP I got at $406/mo+tax with zero drive-off (what I thought was a steal – 9.5 leasehackr score), and I had an additional $1,000 in rebates that time around. However, the drop in residual for the new 3-series from 60% to 58% is a real buzzkill… oh well. Overall, very happy with the new car.

The calculator link doesn’t balance perfectly, but the total lease cost is $19,500 (including 9.5% tax), so pretty close. How did I do? Thoughts?

Can you share your dealer? I’m looking for the same one. Thanks

Thanks for sharing this. It’s a huge help when some dealers try and act like 5% off pre-rebates is a big deal.

No joke, I was given a $670/mth lease offer back on a similar priced 2021 330i (in a 7.5% tax rate state).
