SIGNED! 2020 Volvo V60CC Loaner (6K Miles), MSRP $52,655, $230 per month, 24/10, 5 MSDs + $1520 DAS + $935 trade equity

NOTE: Edited now to split out the manufacturer incentives that I didn’t know about before.

I initially tried to get a deal through one of the brokers on the site, but was unable to connect at the end of last month and the beginning of this month. Being in the Southeast region, there are less incentives available here (no First Responder, Loyalty on lease is only $500, etc… Not sure about all the Mfr incentives). But I had gotten a trade appraisal in late May at a local dealer on my 2017 XC90 T8 when I looked at this particular loaner V60 CC on the lot with 6K miles.

They called me back last week and told me they had some better incentives in June and wanted to make a deal work. So they put the above deal together.

Now, you may be wondering about the $1520 down on top of the MSDs. I normally won’t put money down on a lease, but here’s why I did it. When I was going to go with a broker here, there was usually a $1500 DAS requirement anyway plus the broker fee (so ~$2000). I was also going to have to sell my XC90 going with a broker, and Carvana gave me the best number of anyone. This dealer beat that Carvana number by $2000. So in reality, the $1500 that I paid down plus the $935 in trade equity was pretty much $435 DAS in my mind, and I saved on the broker fee since we weren’t able to work anything out (another $500).

You’re missing a bunch of the incentives in your breakdown.

It’s an amazing deal, but it’s not 30% pre-incentive. I only mention that for future use as a data point for others.

But there is $5,750 Volvo incentives on top of everything else, so I you can’t complain. This is the highest in the country, I believe.
So, you got 19% off pre-incentives, which is great, if it does not include Costco, loyalty or your $900 equity

Incredible deal! Though that discount does include all manufacturer incentives that you don’t have to qualify for, the deal is really good. Also, RV for 36 months is only a couple of points less which is the better term for the V60 CC.

Congratulations and enjoy the car!

You should check this too. 6,000 miles would dock the residual about 2.2%, and the 24/10 residual is 57%, so something is off there too.

Also, you might want to check what you wrote - you spoke to them in late June and they had better incentives in July? I’m 99% sure today is June 14.

I think it is. Even just that and Costco are more than we got with everything piled on. But ya know, availability of what you need in that region is key.

I could choose from quite a few in DMV that I’d want (advanced & pro)

Yeah, but that whole 22 months left on your lease won’t jive, unless you’re over your 7,500 miles. :stuck_out_tongue:

You know I had slim pickings, and I’m happy with the deal, as are my parents, so it’s fine.

Yeah I would have liked Pro but I had to take what they had and what they were willing to deal on. I am very pleased though. Obviously not as nice as our XC90 T8, but I’m also paying a small fraction :-).

That’s how you do a deal on a Volvo! Nice job…

Yup…nice deal OP✔️ This looks like an effective of around $330 a month all in (($229x23) + $2650)/24 and is one of the better deals I think we have seen on a Volvo in awhile at ~0.63%/mo. Like that metric or not, it allows an easy comparison to be made among similar models.

As long as it’s in the same market, during the same month, with the same incentives, and the same tax rate.

Has there ever been a Volvo at 0.6% that was a bad deal? Not being a wise @$$…Im genuinely curious.

More an issue for the person with an identical deal in a different market that gives them .8%, for example, having false expectations.

Here’s a pic - bad lighting I know…

Yeah, I had a .5 with only 16% preincentive.

believe it or not, the payment on 36 mos was about $14/mo higher. That’s why I went with 24 mos.
