I was looking for a new Genesis G80 as I was replacing my Hyundai Genesis Ultimate after 42 months. The deal on my old car was amazing and I knew that I wouldn’t find anything similar on the Genesis. With that in mind, I reached out to several dealers looking for the best price. I was willing to put down $2000 total on a G80 3.8 sport package. Originally, the dealer I ended up leasing from came to me with a 2019 model for $477 a month which I was going to take. However, they couldn’t find any of the colors/interiors that I was looking for and couldn’t find a horse trader at another dealer.
Later that week, they came to me with a deal for a 2020 model which showed a 36 month lease at $555 a month, and a 48 month lease at $466 a month. I actually do not put many miles on my car so I was willing to take the 48 month lease. When I go to the dealer, the sales manager told me he made a mistake on the 48 month lease pricing. However, he was willing to give me the 2020 model at the same price they had told me for the 2019 model for 36 months; $477 per month with $2000 total out-of-pocket.
The numbers below might not be perfect but they’re closemight not be perfect but they’re close… the Finance manager told me that it was the best deal he had seen on a G80. I think someone just screwed up and, the dealer, to irs credit, stuck by the deal.
