I’d like to thank @nyclife for helping me get about the best deal you’ll ever get on a M340i at the moment. He couldn’t have made the process easier for me. I highly highly recommend him if you’re looking for a BMW lease. He can find anything! This was technically a demo with about 1600 miles, but I wouldn’t have known by looking at it! I don’t do MSD’s. I definitely understand their value though! It was a personal decision, but I like to maintain flexibility should I ever do a transfer. Yes, I could ask for them due upon transfer, but it’s just what I ultimately decided upon.
I agree on the MSDs, could have saved you ~$1100 over the lease, which is great return on $3500 investment. However, I can understand someone wanting to keep that cash on hand for various reasons.
Great deal, reached out to @nyclife to find something similar. Noticed that your LeaseHackr link shows Sales Tax at 0%. Did you pay that out of pocket? Adding 8% NY state tax to your calculation brings it up to $586 with zero drive off.
I think going forward I’ll be skipping MSD’s myself as I tend to have horrible ADD when it comes to cars. I suppose on one of these though I wouldn’t even really consider transferring outside of a really great offer to me so might still do.
