Great deal and nice looking car, congrats!
Well done - share more photos on delivery?
I’m trying to find a 20% off MSRP 330i in the Bay Area and it’s proving to be difficult. Looks like you got it at around 17.5% before the code. Nice work!
For some reason the dealer discount seems better back in Nov when I got this deal, I also got lucky by able to stack the OL code.
But 20% off pre-incentive in the bay is super rare anyway, I have only seen one car throughout my search.
The highest discount I can find at the moment is only ~15% - https://www.stevenscreekbmw.com/used/BMW/2020-BMW-330i-near+San+Jose-c0cd95ba0a0d0c14388f5ed1d19ad66f.htm
Lol good luck on that
Nice deal
There’s a 430i here listed at 22% off: https://www.bmwofsanrafael.com/used-San+Rafael-2020-BMW-4+Series-430i-WBA4W3C07LAG91538
Problem is it’s a 4 series and looks like it’s about 30 years old. BMW design has been so bad lately.
I’m optimistic that I can find something, just gotta be patient. Hoping that one of the dealers gets back to me near the end on the month. My current lease is a C300 that I was able to get at nearly 25% off MSRP on Dec 31st. Granted it was 3 years ago and we weren’t in the middle of a pandemic lmao.
22% is great until I see it is the old body style😂
Definitely should wait for better deal on the 330i pal
It’s around 16.x when you normalize for buyrate MF.
Can you explain?
You basically answered every question in this post and may not have realized it; pandemic, not nearly as much lease support, that’s a 4 series too, can’t even compare the two. BMW is actually selling 3 series while 4s are moving slower.
Also… if you don’t know what buy rate MF means, you may wanna stop looking and learn the ins and outs of leasing on this site. So you can understand why you were able to get close to 25% off on a loaner c class at the very end of the quarter of the billing cycle and year lol.
Yea specifically asking about buyrate. I understand the rest. I’ll look into it.
Discounts should never be viewed in isolation. Which payment is lower, a 10% discount at .00082 or a 14% discount at .00122? Always do the math.
By the same taken don’t expect competing offers to match. A dealer who charges buyrate MF probably won’t match the discount from a dealer who marks up the MF.
The buy rate MF in Nov was .00082 set buy BMW FS.
But my dealer marked it up by .0002 (max allowed is .0004), meaning the pre-incentive is equivalent to only 16.x% if I were to get it at buy rate MF.
Thanks that makes sense, I think I knew this just wasn’t aware of the term buyrate. Thanks for the help!
