I am a long time lurker, first time poster. I got fleeced on my first ever lease a little under 3 years ago and was none the wiser until I came across this website and these forums. The information shared on these forums is gold. I contacted 7 dealers all who basically told me I was crazy for asking that they take a loss on their cars. Best discount I was offered was 11-12%. I was about to give up but I decided to give one more dealer a go, and they played it straight and fast over email as soon as I inquired about this car asking for 20% off MSRP. They countered with 18+% and I was in. I will say the experience at the dealer when I arrived was a bit slower than I had hoped given how much the deal was prepped beforehand, and they tried to sneak up the MF last second, which I caught. So how do you all think I did?
