Signed - 2018 Honda Accord Sport 2.0 in Still Night Pearl

You made a good choice I love mine. I pay $360 with $1300 DAS (first month, bank, plates) for a 2.0 sport 36/15. People can say q50 this q50 that, all my friends have one and it’s nothing special, also doesn’t have the tech mine has. C300 no thank you, at this price point it doesn’t even come with LED headlights and no I don’t want a fart car.

Over a long enough timeline, don’t all cars become fart cars?

My farts though lol, only fart car I would take is a 340xi 6mt but it wasn’t in the budget sadly.

I must be in the minority then.

I have to agree with @EC99, I don’t think that I could lease or buy a new car today that didn’t have that option. Anything that doesn’t have it leaves you at the mercy of potentially outdated infotainment systems, especially down the road, and clunky phone integration, not to mention having to pay a premium for substandard navigation, or ugly and ungainly phone mounts. Full disclosure: Driving Uber/Lyft I’m forced to do a lot of that anyway since their apps sadly don’t integrate with Android Auto yet. But when I’m not working I always use it, and once you have it you won’t want to get something that doesn’t have it.

Accord’s stereo is insanely awful though. Bad tech in my opinion.

Agree with you on that. Got my wife the Touring trim and the “premium” sound system is weak. Def expected a bit better.

That would be one of my complaints too. I’m taking my car to the audio gurus to fix that $600 bucks and i will be happy.

It doesn’t bother my wife; perfectly adequate for her. I’m also kind of over the whole sound system thing too…guess it comes with age, at least for me.

But other than that, the car is awesome. Exterior styling has really grown on me, especially that euro, sportback look…digging that a lot.

Thats good to hear, I really like mine too. Hopefully there is some cool cars out in three years from now.

We ended up financing ours and plan on keeping it for the long haul. The wife really doesn’t care what she drives. She wouldve been perfectly happy with the LX trim, but I made the decision for her to go with the Touring.

I on ther hand have to lease as I get bored with cars real quick lol.

Totally understand, Haha. We on the same boat.

For those of you complaining on audio on accord, I leased a 2014 accord exl which came with premium audio. I found a debug on the accord forums which had something to with cancelling the noise cancellation and that just put life in to the amp. You guys might want to check on that on the accord forums. From what i remember, it wasn’t available on the lx, ex or sport as that generation trims didnt come with premium audio. Only the exl, exl nav and touring came with those.

That front looks a lil different. Is that an aftermarket lip?

That is the ANC module you’re talking about. All the accords have it but only changed the sound on the accords that came with the amp. so anything under ex doesnt have them. When you install a sub you have to disconnect it so that it doesnt interfere with it. The new accords all have the ANC module behind the glove box.

Yes sir, It was about $70 and its held on with bolts and nuts as well as double sided tape to make sure it doesnt fly off.

So are you still able to tweak the quality of sound or no?

Looks awesome in black! Enjoy!

You can make it sound decent but lacks base.

leasing one of the most reliable and best resale holding vehicles. Hondas just lease terrible, but amazing choices to actually purchase. I have an s2000 and civic type R and after a year the civic is still worth what i paid for it while the s2000 ive had for a few years actually appreciated. Nothing adds up about leasing a honda especially not for this price.
