Bro is a legend
National MDT, had a bunch of rental credits that are going to expire. These drive like true luxury vehicles, more so than many luxury brands. The front plate placement is a killer though, wouldn’t buy one simply because it ruins the front.
I’m not sure what my expectations were based off of… but I found that airport to be comically small/rural ha. And IIRC, you have to visit the counter for any sort of rental reservation.
or move to a state without front plate ![]()
Pretty sure any normal dealer would mount that much lower down on the bumper
Yep definitely. It was a breeze though, had my keys and was on the road within 15 minutes of getting off the plane.
These new wagoneers are nice though. Spent a lot of time in the early ones that had the Hemi and the Hurricane feels better suited. Buttery smooth, reminded me a lot of the I6 in all the new Benz’s. Averaged 16 mpg though lol.
I wondered myself and that’s apparently where dealers mount them to not interfere with sensors/cameras. I’d just go without.
The saga continues after I got rear-ended…his insurance company told me to find out where there are luxury cars. Interesting cars and rates at Enterprise in Fort Lee (that’s their exotic location).
Try Sixt if they’re reimbursing and not doing direct pay.
They’re doing direct pay, so it was enterprise or hertz. Hertz has much fewer locations here and no selection, so enterprise it is. I’m not getting one of those cars though!
As a seasoned road warrior, if you can butter up whoever is at the national executive counter, you can Jedi mind trick them into giving you an Audi Q5 for the price of a Camry.
Thanks, but I’m not paying, and the insurance of the person who hit me only has contracts with Progressive and Enterprise.
Give me an R8 or a Vantage over an SL or F-Type, especially for half the price wtf lmao
Thanks why I posted this. The differences were almost comical.
