Carvana has made me a nice offer for my car…between not having to pay registration for next year, and not really needing a second car for a few weeks I was prepared to go ahead and sell.

However, a dealer I that I pre-ordered a car from is now playing games…

And I have a Tesla on order but it keeps getting pushed back…first March, then May…now July/August.

I definitely need a second car for what appears to be at least 10 weeks…

Trying to do the math between selling/renting etc…

Are there any decent inexpensive medium term options?

just pickup a beater off craigslist toyota/honda anything from 2001-2010 for $3-4k and then you can even sell it for that much in couple month as well

I think that’s what I have to do…registration is next week, which was one reason I wanted to dump it now.

But I just checked a couple other used car dealers, and one made me a better offer than Carvana…
