Sharing My Deal On The 2016 Volt

Mid last month, we leased the new 2016 Volt.

Originally we were looking at Bunnin Chevrolet in Culver City (LA Area) and got a quote for a Volt LT with the comfort interior pack (leather) with a total MSRP of 35,355. The lease was for 36 months, 10K per year with 1500 total due at signing at 300 per month including tax. The money due at signing would become zero after the CA rebate.

As the day came that the car was going to be delivered, the dealer delayed the delivery by almost a week. At this point we became frustrated and decided to shop around a little bit more.

Later that day, we found Penske Chevrolet in Cerritos which had a Volt Premier (top trim) with navigation, and both driver assistance packages. This car had an MSRP of 39,830. Penske was able to lease us the more expensive car with 500 less due at signing for the SAME monthly payment. On top of that they delivered the car 60 miles away that same day, and we never had to step foot into the dealership.

Thought I would share this information for anyone who is looking for the 2016 Volt, to make sure to really shop around to make sure you are getting the best deal!

Congrats on the new car! Thanks for sharing your deal.

I was playing with some scenarios for Volt the other day. $1,000 total drive-off and $300/month thereafter, including tax, is excellent for a loaded Volt Premier.

Congrat and thank u for the info. I want to looking into leasing volt, but also want the malibu deal as well. not sure if i can replicate both.

Thank you i would look around. the volt is a great car, and dealers are itching to get them off their lots!
