Selling a leased Infiniti to a 3rd party

Hey guys,

I plan to sell my leased 2019 Infiniti (18 months left) to Carmax or online dealer but Carvana just told me they don’t deal with Infiniti buyouts. I did a research and seems people are complaining that this is the case for all. So I am just wondering if this a dead end. Does it make any difference if I buy out this car myself first and then sell it to a 3rd party?

NMAC no longer allowing third-party lease buyouts?

Was getting a quote from a new dealer chains “CarShop” (previously CarSense) to buyout my Leaf lease… to hopefully make positive equity… and they hit me with this. Is this just a tactic to make me sell? Will be contacting NMAC them later today. [image]

IFS no longer allows third party buyouts. You need to buyout the car, pay the sales tax, wait for the title then sell to Carmax.

Check your local Infiniti dealer to see what they can offer and if they can buy it out.

I caught NMAC just before they ended the third party buyout.

Im on the same boat here! Tired a couple of dealers and they can’t take it. I think I’m gonna buy it and then sell it. I can make 8k off of it so I think it’s worth a shot.
