Seeking Advice for Attending the Las Vegas Grand Prix

My friends and I are gearing up for our first Las Vegas Grand Prix experience this year. We are four men and would love some advice from seasoned attendees. From accommodations near the circuit to must-see attractions in the city, any insights you have would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to your recommendations!

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately, I didn’t get any replies here but I have been looking for suggestions online for the last few weeks and found some useful resources. I am sharing some of these resources here to make this thread more effective for its readers.

I was just there last weekend… big weekends are a bit of a :poop: show. Everything crowded, overpriced, and you’ll need a lot of patience.

Uber/lyft will be a pain, car rental center will not have many options and will be overbooked. Make dining reservations in advance, especially on the strip. I find dining off strip way more value for money though.

Where are you staying and how are you planning to get around?

I was able to get a cheap room at Excalibur even with the resort fee. It seems fine and I figure being close to the strip will minimize travel and getting gouged by taxis.

You sure you wanna stay there? It’s known to be dirty and run down, check the reviews.

I was nervous but friends had been recently and said it was fine. Here now and I’m glad I did it. Nothing glamorous but better than $500/night
