Seeking Advice: Currently Leasing 4x2 Truck, Need 4x4

12-months remaining on lease of Toyota Tacoma 4x2. Southern California. Excellent credit over 800. Wanted to lease my first ever truck to see if I like it.

Two years in I love the truck, but definitely require a 4x4, not 4x2. Seeking upgrade and wish to get some ideas/advice from some of the wiser minds here on what to do with a year left on lease.

I know quick easy answer is suck it up for 12-months & get truck next year. Open to other suggestions or ideas (lease transfer? negotiate w/ dealer for upgraded truck?). Would love some recommendations on what to do and where to begin here…

Go back to your dealer, ask how much they’ll give you for Tacoma and make a,deal on a 4wd tacoma
