Is there a way to search new inventory across all dealerships in a general city or state online without going to each and every individual dealers website ??
A vast majority have listings on Autotrader.com that you can then filter down.
Some manufacturer websites also have this ability.

Cars.com and Cargurus.com (which also has aging) but isn’t always up-to-date (once you go from there to dealer you can confirm).
We also have a couple tools built by our @tech_crew that search BMW and Volvo if you are looking at those brands.

I made some notebooks demonstrating how to access some of Volvo’s public APIs. You can find them here:
Dealer search notebook
Inventory search notebook
Incentive search notebook
Here’s a link to the json for the dealers within 500 miles of my house. If you are on the west coast you may want to rerun the script yourself on a closer zip code
@RustyDaemon we can probably use this to automatically populate all Volvo dealers into your scraper.

It’s usually my first go-to if I’m just searching within 100 miles. They usually have some maximum distance restrictions if you’re unicorn hunting.
