Sanity Check with Dealership

I am looking at leasing a 2026 4Runner Sr5 and the dealership is telling me they don’t know the residual or money factor until the 4Runner (in the build stage) actually gets delivered. Does this sound legit? Thanks in advance.

It’s possible if the car hasn’t been produced yet or isn’t likely to arrive this program month..

This checks out, most manufacturers update rates/residuals monthly. There’s no way to know what they will be months from now on a vehicle that has not yet been built.

MF / RV / Rebates can change every month is what is referred to as “the program can change” however with that being said we typically do not see massive swings in either direction and I would argue Toyota swings are historically even smaller if any.

As a super supporter you can see the current program ( MF / RV / Rebates ) and I’d be willing to bet it’ll be close to the same program next month.

Alternatively, you’ve run this by @Jrouleau426 and I believe @AutoNinjas is the other broker I believe that offers TX based deals, right? You’re also aware TX taxes are an uphill battle on leases I hope.

That could be true, but what does the deal look like with this month’s residual and money factor?

There’s no tax credits on runner in Texas. I’m sure even with shipping i can crush their numbers.

Lease on sr5 I can do under 500 with 2k down. Tax tags all fees and first month inc.
