Rubicon 4xe lease, thoughts? MF seems high

,

Looking for input on this lease. I have only leased once before (current vehicle’19 GC) and ended up buying it at the end (financed) I owe 13k. Currently with 68k miles.

I rented a 4xe Rubicon last week and put 1400 miles on it and had blast. I know there are considerable rebates right now on EVs.

My location is Massachusetts. Dealer is in RI. 2024 Rubicon 4xe. Cold weather group, dual top.

Below are the numbers they’re giving me just starting off. Money factor seems high. I’m not crazy about 10k down.

What do you guys think? Where do I go from here?

Horrible. Either order one with Mitch at Ourisman or order one with Leasecompanion.

Are they on here or have a site I can visit? It seemed pretty bad but again I’ve only done this once and I don’t remember much of the process.

Email him your build and ask for a quote for JL Forum deal. You can also ask him if he has something similar in stock.

Leasecompanion is on the forum

The challenge that OP will have is dealing with out of state dealerships like Ourisman, etc as a Massachusetts resident. (Edit: Maybe that’s not the case anymore? It looks like there’s some kind of temp tag program in MA now) Maybe @Bostoncarconcierge could be of assistance? Regardless, please do not put down 10k on anything you may lease now or in the future.

I read you are in RI not MA. If you live in MA Leasecompanion is out.

Thats buy rate mf for sfs for 24 rubicon. Ccap is slightly better, but still sky high.

Mass does not do temp tags.

I am a resident in mass this particular dealer is in RI.

I sent him an email already. Waiting for a response.

I would definitely prefer not to put as much if any cash down.

No down payment for a lease. it’s not down payment for finance, if your car got stolen or totaled tomorrow, you won’t get a penny back of your down

MY23 is where it’s at for the wrangler 4xe’s (currently). They’re incentivized…or at least they still were for this month. ‘24’s are stupid expensive and not worth it imo.

Happy to help in a few days when september programs are active and deals for this month are out

Acknowledging I got your email sent tonight around 8pm

You can’t go wrong by talking to @Bostoncarconcierge . I live in CT and have leased 3 vehicles through him (2 Wranglers).

Thank you sir!

$10K down?!? Yikes

No temp tags in MA. If you go with Mitch he can get one off the lot and save you about 7k off this deal. Probably 3 weeks until you have plates and $3-400 to ship it.

If you want easy and plates right away, maybe a little lower discount, go with @Bostoncarconcierge

Went to another dealer. 23’ rubi. Actually like the look better than the 24.( color combo matches our Benz)

I just hate the idea of a payment any higher than $600. I know down payments don’t make sense on the leases though. I’d be getting a check back from my trade that would be enough to pay off my remaining student loans leaving me 100% debt free minus the vehicle. (Paid off house last year)

Leasing may benefit me more from my side hustle (1099)

Money factor was better. It’s through a bank I’ve never heard of (stellantis)

I fairly confident it would be purchased at the end.

Thoughts?

Money factor is down to .00218 putting it at $525/mo with cash back to me from my trade equity. Still 6k down.

Is the interest rate on the student loans higher than 5%? If so, pay them off with the money from the trade and keep as much cash as you can. Put down $3K toward the lease and end up with a payment close to $600. Invest the cash in a high yield saving account or CD.

If you’re planning on purchasing, you’ll save a good amount of money on a 23 due to the much lower rv.

Do you have the tdm code included in your incentives?
