Which dealership? I guess most of the NCAL RR dealership are same corporation.
And it seem like decent discount. New or demo? Ask them to use base MF if possible.

New. It was either a bigger discount on the car or a slightly marked up mf. They wouldn’t budge, said they can’t do numbers like SoCal and the best they can do. I’ve received quotes for the same car upwards of 800 not including tax from many dealers
Is it the S, SE or HSE trim?
I like the Velar but I wouldn’t pay nearly $800p/m for the 2.0l Diesel engine variant, people have gotten RR Sports for that money but I know getting deals with LR dealers can be very difficult. Did you test drive any other Land Rovers? The best deals this month are on Evoques, Discovery Sports and Discovery’s, but they all have older style interiors. The Discovery Sport HSE 286hp Dynamic is good value at the moment. Check cargurus.com for the dealers near you and target older stock.
How much cheaper is SoCal? Why not make the trip?
