Doc fees were really high here. Unavoidable. 843.
I had $5000 with me and decided to put it all down, against my better judgement. So $2400 on top of fees and first month.
Payments now $805. I’m happy.
Dealer is also powder coating my wheels black. Don’t like silver.
Car is for my dad and I deliver it to him tomorrow. I went back and forth on several models. Originally he really fell in love with a Maserati levante, but those dealers are trash. And I’m happy he didn’t go for it in the end. Also looked at Mercedes models and the f pace. In the end, this won both of us over. The pure refinement of the cabin is awe inspiring at times. It really feels like getting into a space ship. The upgraded meridian sound system is great, at least better than the levante and the fpace we test drove, and better than any I’ve ever had in any of my cars.
I read people comment that the engine was underpowered, even the top end like we got. I don’t find that to be the case at all. If I want blinding pace, I’m not looking at an SUV. I’ve always thought this was a dumb concept. To review and suv with the lens of a coupe. That said, the supercharged v 6 has plenty of get up and go with a healthy 380hp. The handling in sport mode is great. Its quiet and smooth as silk on the road, and that’s something you’ll never get in a sports coupe… because that’s not their purpose.
No. Not for lack of effort. The dealer sold it out from under me after we went through the credit check process and they promised me that they removed the car from the lot and put a sold sign on it, even after my insistence on a deposit, which they declined. If you have to have a Maserati, save yourself the trouble of dealing with Maserati of bakersfield. Theirs a dozen other dealers in California and many more nationwide.
*definitely dodged that bullet. The range is in a class if it’s own and 10k less in sticker. The Maserati name isn’t worth an extra dime when they have trash people peddling it.
That’s about 1%, which seems to be the benchmark for a good deal on these.
What is the money factor you’re getting? Don’t pay more than the buy rate
*on second thought. That’s plus tax… check the MF, I bet it’s marked up.
I am assuming that the dealership is powder coating your wheels at no charge? Could you upload a picture of the powder coated wheels? Thanks for your time!
