Returned a Mazda lease to dealership last week. They called asking me for more money

I have the paperwork from the originating dealer. I don’t know how that’s going to help me though. There’s nothing wonky about this lease and I called MFS multiple times before returning the vehicle to ensure it’s ok for me to return it to another dealership. They said once that happens my deposit will be refunded on the final statement less disposition and any excess wear and tear

Side note: Carmax doesn’t deal with MFS so that’s no longer an option. Vroom is giving me a quite a few hundred less than payoff. Not going to do that either.

They definitely thought the MSD went towards their buyout and now want you to split the difference? No way, that money’s yours.
