Residualize Accessories?

Helping my parents close a deal on a 2021 Sierra SLT. They want to buy a tonneau cover… with Ford in the past, I have been able to add in Ford Accessories and enjoy a residual value on those items.

Does anyone know if GMC is the same way? If not, they will buy it and just take it over before turning in but wanted to be sure.

No unless it’s on the monroney sticker. You pay for 100% of it plus rent charge plus tax.

I’ve definitely amortized some accessories in a deal, but the MF converted to under 1% The 3M was probably applied so unlikely that can be removed now. But the floormats could probably go back - not certain since it was in the deal and not purchased from parts (so is the return policy the same? Could vary dealer to dealer).
