I personally don’t think the iX is much uglier than the X3
And it looks better than their main rival’s car the MB EQE and EQS.
iX is ugly. EQS & EQE SUV are shaped like minivan instead of SUV. Based on exterior alone, I take GV70 electrified, rivian or kia ev9. Even Audi manage a normal looking ev with its e-tron

eh, looks are subjective but to me the iX looks fine.
The EQE and EQS are fugly though.
Both are leagues ahead of the Model Y/X.
In regard to OP @Hawk0z though the Ioniq 6 is the ugly sibling of the Ioniq 5 but you got a great deal so be happy. And also who cares what other people think? Drive what you like and enjoy it. I wasn’t really thrilled about a huge R1T or EQE sedan either but at $700/month combined for both I have no complaints.
Of all these, the EQS sedan with the sport exterior and multi-multi spoke wheels looks the best, hands-down. The iX is godawful.
