Hi everyone, I am just wondering what would be a reasonable dealer discount on a 2018 Cadillac CT6 demo with 4500 miles on the clock? Would 10% be asking for too much?
That’s asking too little…
If you figure invoice + hold back is ~8% discount on a new one. One with 4500 miles might reduce another 10-12%, so 20% off. Which trim and packages- we can look up used ones or recent auction results to ballpark compare
I don’t think he’s going to get 20% off a CT6, even as a loaner, unless that thing has been on the lot for 16 months and is an oddball configuration nobody wants.
Thanks for the reply guys! It kind of lets me know that 10% dealer is reasonable.
The car I was looking at, not sure how long it’s been on the lot, but MSRP of 65k, luxury trim 3.6 awd, enhanced vision package.
I am thinking of asking them for the following:
GMS price of the exact car: 58165
Dealer discount: 5000
Cap cost before incentives: 53165
Eligible incentives: 3160
According to edmunds, the car has a 53% residual for 39mo and a .00010 MF(36/12). With 1000 drive off, I should be at around $460/mo with Michigan 6% tax rolled in. Does that sound reasonable?
