Ram 1500 night edition lease. first time leasing

i got my first quote for a 39 month lease with 12k a year. 3400 total out of pocket and 427 a month. msrp is $53k. i think i can get a better price maybe below 400 any suggestions?

Try to get all the numbers from the dealer. It’s hard for us to comment on a deal when we only know a small slice of the picture.

I leased a 2017 in November for $1000 drive off and $375 a month $51k msrp if I remember correctly.
One recommendation that I have is having the dealer check with local credit unions they seemed to have the best rebates.

final selling price is 40732 after 8750 rebate/ incentives. msrp was 53265. and correction is 436 a month 3645 out of pocket 12k a year for 39 months. good deal? think it could be better?

That’s way too much money to put down. You should be aiming for zero drive off, or at the absolute most tax, tags and first month. Have you shopped around at all? See what other dealers in your area have to offer.

as far as I’m told the up front is taxes title fees etc

and also first payment

What state? Have them give you a breakdown of the drive off as well. What the taxes and fees are, etc. Search for other dealers within a range you are comfortable traveling and get competing quotes.

Which Night Edition is it? There appear to be several cab and bed sizes, drivetrains, etc. Have them provide the residual and money factor as well. What bank is being used for the deal, breakdown of the rebates being applied, etc.

its a 2018 night crew cab 5,7 bed v8 4x4. I’m in new york

NYC? Or state? Without getting into color, etc there are 132 of these within 100 miles of Manhattan, so if you cast your net a little bit you’ll see if anyone can can do better.

east long island to be specific zip is 11949. and yes I’m going to call a couple dealers tomorrow to compare

Are you looking at the gray one or the black one?

gray one. should be at riverbed dodge

Try Security in Amityville or Brown’s in Patchogue. Seem to have similar inventory with best discounts listed. Also, maybe try expanding into the NJ/PA border if you are willing to travel. Princeton, Langhorne etc. This area got killed this month with snow and I know for a fact that a lot of places lost days worth of sales because of the weather. Might be worth getting a quote. Reedman Toll in Langhorne and Baker in Princeton might be a start. They have similar stock.
