I recently returned by Volvo xc90. Now I got a lease settlement bill which says vehicle turn in fee $484. I thought it was already included in lease numbers. Didn’t know that it comes after vehicle returned. Is that so ? Please educate me
Deposition fee is charged at lease end, if you don’t lease another vehicle from them (bank) again.

As mentioned By @Jon , it’s the disposition fee and would be in your original lease documents. It’s a standard charge among all lessors and based on the number looks like it might be taxable in CA? As in it was most likely $450 + tax?
Incentive to lease another Volvo.
Benz is $595
No, it’s not. In the LH calculator, it’s also a separate line item that counts into your total cost of ownership (TCO), but not in your monthly/one-pay lease costs and DAS.
All lessors/captives/banks charge a lease disposition fee btw.
Check your lease contract. It will show you the lease disposition charges.
