Pre-incentive discounts on Solterra and Trailseeker in May

Has anyone here signed a Subaru Solterra or Trailseeker lease so far in May?

I’m wondering what pre-incentive discounts people are seeing on these models this month.

I’d like to target a 10% pre-incentive discount off MSRP but not sure if this is reasonable this month.

I’m in California but am interested in hearing about deals nationwide.

I signed yesterday on a Touring with total $7384 off MSRP for 36/12 with $0 down. That is $2000 customer cash, $4000 dealer cash, and additional $1384 off from dealer. This was better than I had been able to find late April. Stock is very limited still.

May not be a great deal, but is quite a bit better than others I have seen on these cars or I could negotiate last month.

I think the Toyota version has $5,500 lease cash incentive.

Nice! How much is your monthly payment?

Thanks. Was that a Solterra or Trailseeker?

I see a lot more Solterra inventory nearby than Trailseeker.

How hard was it to get that $1,384?

Are you leasing or buying?

Most likely leasing

Then you have to focus on the cars with the best MF/RV and incentives.

There are lots of cars where 10% off MSRP gets you to a terrible lease payment

Thanks.

I have rate finder access so I know the current MF, RV, and incentives on both of these models.

I just need to figure out if my target of 10% off MSRP for a pre-incentive discount is reasonable in the current market.

Thanks. I’ve looked at the BZ and Woodland and they seem great but in my area Toyota dealers are listing both well above MSRP whereas Subaru dealers are listing the Solterra and Trailseeker at MSRP.

So my assumption is there’s more room for pre-incentive discounts on the Subaru models.

But if I strike out on the Subarus I may give the Toyotas a try.

So what’s the effective payment at 10% off?

Looks like around $275 ($330 effective). Still have a guesstimate in for dealer fees though.

Edit: Solterra Premium

I had reached out on some Solterras on the east coast, most were giving $4,500 off without negotiation (about 11.5%) pre incentive. Not sure about west coast, but definitely achievable.

Edit: some CA dealers (east bay) seem to be advertising over 10% off direct on website. Feel free to PM if you can’t find them.

You should be able to easily get 3500 off by expanding your search.

Put together your target deal. Send it to dealers and if one accepts it get the car. Repeat until you get the car

If u are a Costco member, u can get $3700 off MSRP on Toyota bz pre incentive

What state in East Coast? Any dealership?

Two dealerships in upstate CT. Happy to share details via PM if you’d like!

Thanks. Good to know.

I’ll likely try sending offers to a few dealers near me based on 10% off MSRP plus customer lease cash and dealer lease cash incentives.
