Porsche Macan S Texas Deal

This would be the beauty of people that earn this type of money… they get to do whatever they want with it!!!

His wife wanted it, he works hard and so he got the car. There should be no smh

As has been discussed, you can do that, but its technically illegal in most states unless the car is actually used in montana.

BTW, that is illegal. Just wait until you have to file taxes on the sham corp or get audited. Second you have to insure the vehicle, do you tell the insurance company the truth or lie, in either case they will most likely not insure you, or if you lie and get the insurance those Montana plates will pop up and they will deny the claim (if you have an accident). Living in Ca you can’t do it according to my accountant. Live at your own risk tolerance.

DeputyDogs - I live in DFW area where there are multiple Porsche dealers and all had multiple cars with pretty much the same configuration. I told all 3 what I wanted and that it wasn’t an emotional decision and I would buy the cheapest, and then based on the sell price, I negotiated the best lease price. I also got quotes from a couple third party leasing companies - the costs on identical leases literally ranged from $800 to over $1200 per month, as the better the money factor, the lower the residual went - there was literally a 15 point swing in residual. It seems Porsche Financial also offers a limited number of tax incentives to dealers in states like Texas where laws require you to pay tax on the full price of the vehicle if you lease it. I was able to take advantage of that with the dealership as well. In spite of what some others have commented, if you look at Porsche message boards or have ever tried to lease a Macan S, the deal I got was pretty darn good on this vehicle. Feel free to send me a private message if you want the name of the dealership or any other details. I’m not sure what the delta would be on 15K miles, I think 12K would have take the residual down by 2% which would have been another ~$35/ month more.
