Porsche Macan S Texas Deal

What dealer is that?

All the MA dealers have them on the Cayenne Platinum edition

No MSD’s from Porsche and BMW has stopped their program as well. The majority of Porsche leases suck. Once in a while they will mark up residuals when they have too many cars, which is how I scored on my 911 (residual was 76% I think).

I would also wait until the 2018’s show up or look for a a 2016 CPO Macan and save a big chunk of change.

Not sure how many miles you plan to drive but the the GTS and Turbo are very nice.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I’m buying a Macan S, it’s for my wife and that is what she wants. 5K mile lease won’t work, nor will a BMW lease or any other Porsche for that matter. My ask was if people had seen better MF on Porsche financial leases recently and thoughts in if this specific lease made sense. The .00260 that they quoted me through Porsche Financial seemed pretty high. The option to buy it outright is certainly still there but if a stream of payments of $38K on a car that would cost me $68K cash to walk out the door with today, is probably a decent deal unless the car is worth more than $35K in 39 months - which seems unlikely given everyone’s feedback here.

Anyway - thanks all for the help!

Yes, I think this is high, 0.0020 should be the correct MF.

It’s hard to tell if PFS raised the base MF to 0.0020 recently or if that’s just the dealer marking things up. I went thru a dozen dealers when I leased my 911 to get the 0.0020 rate. Most had marked it up and would not admit the base rate at the time was indeed 0.0020. I even had salespeople promise the base rate only to have the Finance guy say “that’s not possible”. Also had a guy promise 0.002 only to find out it was 0.0029!

There are so many ways these guys can make money on an unsuspected person. They can give you a great discount only to make it back in a trade in or by raising the drive offs or MF. Sounds like you are doing your homework.

I’d suggest you get the exact $$ amount for the different between what the dealer is offering at their MF and what you can do privately. Once you have that delta see if you can negotiate with the dealership- if it makes sense and they are where you will be servicing your Macan. Tell them you’ll take the high MF but want free all-season floor mats, free oil changes or the first service for free, etc. My experience is that the first service can be pricey and vary a lot between Porsche dealers.

Where is this zero down, $699 per month Cayenne deal? I can’t find it online anywhere…

Porsche Norwell 30 chars

All over the place

Porsche Financial does not have this listed:

Google search also reveals multiple dealers doing 700 with 0 down

looks good but 5,000 miles won’t work for me at least. Good starting point though

65k Cayenne is bare bones

At least you can say you’re driving a Porsche…

Seriously when I read the title of the thread I thought it was a joke. Not only is OP in Texas but he wants to lease a Porsche. Not any Porsche but the hottest one, the Macan.

It’s like the three of the worst things come together in one lease!

Anyone contacted them. It says ‘only’ first month due at signing and then goes on to list to bunch of fees and whatnot.

Hi everyone. Thanks to the few of you that actually contributed helpful insight on the Macan deal. We bought a car yesterday and got a deal I was very happy with - roughly 10% off the car, nothing down but first month payment, mf of .0022 and some tax credits that Porsche dealers apparently have available to them in Texas and walked out with just over $800 per month for 39 months. Realize that’s probably not as good as the BMW’s, other Porsche’s, other states or the many irrelevant things that others pointed out, but given I live in TX and was buying a Macan either way, it seemed pretty solid.
