Porsche CPO Lease Rates

Wait did Porsche kill CPO leases on 2025?

Never complain about the bottom feeders again when you encourage them like this :joy:

It means that Scott is better at selling Porsches than he is at generating memes…

The meme is very cryptic (or I’m completely daft) it seems like 2024-2025 CPO models are no longer available to lease? Or like PFS completely pulled all CPO leasing on all 2020-2025 models? In Shaggy’s voice “like why would they do that?”

I haven’t seen the programs yet but my guess is that too many people were harassing their dealers for quotes and the whole program was more trouble than it was worth.

Too many mouth breathers posted their deals online and Porsche Financial was losing their ass on cars that the buyout was higher than the purchase price.

It prob just means the deals aren’t as good. I have to think they’ll take all the people leasing 4 year old 150k sticker 911s for 2500 a month they can get

This sounds like me.

I mean then why the tombstone? That implies death.

Also I’ll stop posting in this thread; as it’s meant to make Scott money to pay for his Cayenne Turbo.

Leasehackrs don’t even make a blip on the screen of Porsche markets. I’m sure they got a lot of calls for taycans but def nothing significant on 911 cpo leases 99% are terrible leases even with high residuals. I can assure you Porsche didn’t change residuals bc of us

They definitely did, not just from us, but because of this in general.

This became way too well known.

Any car that would have leased well was gone/sold in under an hour.

All it takes it enough dealers getting a few calls, complaining to their reps, etc.

It really doesn’t take a lot.

Didn’t Porsche do the same thing earlier this year or maybe last year where they dropped residuals a lot but recently they were back up hence the deals we saw posted. It could just be temporary/regular program change unless someone has confirmed it’s permanent or long term.

Yeah that’s what I was getting at, things could change for the better in the future.

If everyone who got a deal would just have shut up and not posted online - we’d still be in business.

I wouldn’t even think most buyers know you can even lease cpos. That combined with the fact almost none lease well at asking price. You know better than me but we’ve only seen under prob a dozen 911 deals posted here so I wouldn’t think that was significant. Why didn’t they change them over the last year when people were still getting these deals? Last month didn’t seem like anything special. A few got 2 year leases before for under a grand that I saw.

Porsche is hemorrhaging money anyway. They should be happy to get some first time buyers in leasing used cars…the dealer still gets paid and the cars prob gonna be worth the residual at the end so seems like a win win. Their pricing is insane now as is so they’re already losing enthusiasts im sure. I guess they would rather trade that market for the crypto and influencer bros

This is the purpose of this site. If users didn’t post their deals then brokers would anyway…so price discovery would be here regardless. It’s not some secret society. Porsche forums and some facebook groups advertise these deals as well.

Correct, almost none of them lease well.

But no one here understands the mechanics of why some lease well and some don’t.

So people see a deal here, maybe over 6 months a couple hundred calls get made to dealers asking for 12 month CPO lease quotes on a 911’s,

of those hundreds of calls, 20-30 people get a bunch of them and complain to their rep

rep looks into it

they see whats happening

it stops

Like I said, it doesn’t take much

Most of us on here would love to understand the mechanics of CPO Porsche leases however the 5 people on here that do understand them and could explain it, create a wiki, or share the knowledge have either been told not to share the information or are choosing to not share.

It would only make the problem worse.

It’s a lose/lose.

Either these deals go underground and no one offers them publicly, or some people get them, but they are admittedly gate-kept.

That’s just the reality of how it needed to work to make it happen this long.

A wiki would be largely useless as ultimately without sharing the program monthly, no one would be able to do this, and that would not be an appropriate thing to do.

@community_moderators can we just landfill all of this please? This should be a discussion outside of my thread

@community_moderators Please move the CPO discussion to 695652 not the OT landfill. This won’t be the end of the lamenting

There’s a lot of noise… where do you want the landfilling to start? Let us know and we can clean it up.
