Sounds like business as usual for you

This is a great deal for sure. I tried to lease a CPO from a local Porsche dealer with 0 success. Numbers made no sense to me. Maybe it’s because I am in norcal where numbers just don’t make sense in general

They are not intended to make sense since Porsche wants to sell new cars. There are a handful of CPOs that happen to be cheap to lease compared to new since PFS can’t account for every single scenario.

Lucky for PFS, Porsche has dozens of brokers on LH who know the hot deals and can sling some metal.

I don’t think they’re feeling lucky.

Definitely not on the Taycans, maybe on the 911’s and some Cayennes, but not on the Taycans.

Realistically, the more people draw attention to this, the sooner it will come to an end.

Eh, they have a backlog of secondary market cars and y’all help them to move the stuff and make dealers money.

Maybe if you require someone to buy a Porsche Design watch to score a bargain CPO Taycan, then Porsche will be happy.

Well…enjoy the car!

They don’t have a backlog of anything, dealers hold that inventory, PFS doesn’t care about selling used cars. They hardly care about selling new cars if their interest rates are any indication.

I’m happy for you, but the 12/15k is hardly breaking news. Scott posts at least a couple per month.

If I’m dense, please explain why I’m wrong. And it’s likely I am because I’ve heard that high MSRP and low mileage CPOs make the best leases several times.

But in order to get a lower CPO lease price (ignoring MF for now) wouldn’t you want a higher MSRP and a lower Selling price? If so, wouldn’t a higher mileage CPO have a lower selling price compared to the SAME car with lower mileage?

If that’s incorrect, and a lower mileage car would actually have the lower lease price, can someone explain the math to me on that?

*Obviously I’m talking about the mileage at lease start, not the miles driven per year during the lease.

Can’t lease a used car. Keep it moving

Did you ever get a Macan…?

I’m curious if anyone has been able to negotiate one of these deals for 24 months instead of 12.

Yes - but on rare occasion. It often doesn’t make financial sense.
