I have a model Y with 6 month of warranty left that I was considering trading in for a base P4 at the same price, so that’s my feeling - I’d prefer a new car.
I do not know if Polestar can go bankrupt in the US without having their whole international operation go through bankruptcy - and maybe the brand will fold shortly anyhow. But I would apply a significant discount rate to any lease when factoring in the risk of a bankruptcy. If you lease a car, you have an obligation to return it to the finance company in good working order. What happens if you lose the ability to service your car, it has a mechanical issues and you can’t get it fixed before lease turn in.
I can’t find any good reports of what is happening to people who are returning Fisker leases but I would worry that a finance company could legally ask for a lot of money/the entire RV of the vehicle at turn in if the car is inoperable and cannot be fixed due to the lack of service availability.
This is certainly an unlikely scenario but not impossible and if it came to pass it would be really bad.

Were they able to offer you anything? I feel like the deal gets less attractive the more you upgrade, so discounted plus package or something seems huge.
Just walk away. The risk is not worth it.

just get a used Model Y and be done. Probably will be more reliable, though not as nice.
I have heard a few people mention their dealers told them they would not be taking any more.
While that’s possible, I would think Polestar has to sell at least the vehicles already inbound somehow and the only way I can see that happening is either:
A: incentivize remaining dealers enough to sell them
B: send them directly to auction
A seems more likely to me. They certainly aren’t turning the ship around.

The list of dealers refusing new inventory that I know of: Florida (Tampa, FLL, WPB, Miami - all 4 are under different ownership); Columbus Ohio (https://www.reddit.com/r/Polestar/s/TvGfpQd0vk).
list who are getting more delivered: CT (noted above), and I think at least one dealer on California (but don’t remedy where I saw that).
Last shipment that left SK for the US was on 7/05.
It’ll take several weeks for it to get to the US.
These car carriers carries thousands of cars, they definitely wouldn’t turn around just for 350 cars.
Used y are not as cheap anymore though. 2022-2023 are ~30k easy. So out of warranty lower interior quality Tesla for 30k seems like a lot at first glance tbh
