Toyota Corolla should be under $200/mo with $2K DAS

Ive never leased before and I am trying to learn the lingo while trying to find a deal. Any suggestions in texas market. I can go anywhere to pick up or ship i just sww some pnd have residency requirements. TIA

It doesn’t make any difference to the punitive way Texas will tax your lease. If anything you want to stay in state and look for deals that have tax abatement.

But forget about brands like non-EV Lexus and Acura that don’t spend on promoting good leases; can’t get a good lease unless the bank makes it so.

Keep watching Marketplace probably nothing for now

Interested in the IONIQ 5 Limited, Audi Q4 e-tron, or Mach-E Premium.

Excellent credit (800+), 10k miles/yr, ready to sign immediately for the right numbers.

@Benedetto does Volvo. You may want to look at his thread. I don’t know if he can CA deals though. I believe he’s based in the Midwest somewhere.

If you go test drive an Acura or Lexus, just ask if any sales tax credits are available. If not, then you can use a broker, even if the car comes from out of state. If there are no sales tax credits available on the model(s) you’re interested in you can look for the best deal you can get anywhere, since you’ll be paying full 6.25% sales tax on the purchase price anyway.

@IAC_Nick deals in Acura and Lexus now I believe, but I think the cars come from the SE. So you’ll have to factor shipping and broker fees into your equation to be sure that it’s actually cheaper to get a deal from out of state.

Where in TX are you located?

Good morning! I’m in Maryland and looking for an amazing deal on a Mercedes GLE 450 ex-loaner/brass hat demo with AMG package/21” wheels. I’m pretty flexible on color combos. Ready to make a move as soon as possible. Who’s got something fantastic?

BMW I4: Brooklyn gray, blue, cape green or black.

i believe we have a few 25s left - shoot us an inquiry

I do Honda in Texas. If you’re not picky on models, Accords and Ridgelines have tax credits all month. Text me if interested, 516-550-3707

My daughter is 2nd class at USNA in Annapolis and wants something for 24 months. Not picky. Just cheap. She would license in Maryland I assume. She’s military obviously if that helps. Willing to work with a broker. Just trying to get her into something as close to $200 a month as possible for 24 months. 10k miles annually is more than enough. Any help or direction appreciated. Thanks

Maryland taxes are going to make the lease much less attractive. Since she is military (I assume midshipmen get the same protection as active duty soldiers). You definitely want to lease and register it in NY or NJ if you can. If you are just looking for something cheap check the Marketplace section. Plenty of options for affordable transportation in NY/NJ if you are flexible. You can either work with a broker or get an idea from their postings on what cars are leasing cheaply.

She is active duty. I didn’t realize they could register in NY or NJ. Does she need an address there? How does that work?

She may get some tax breaks in MD, too.

If they can choose another state then SC, NC and NH are obviously cheaper

I mentioned NY or NJ because you had tagged those in your post. I would very much believe they can use your home address if that’s where you live. For anywhere else, they would need to talk to someone in Annapolis to get more advice on getting license there.
