Can you please evaluate/comment on this loaner deal:
2019 Mercedes C300, Loaner with 3800 miles, P1 package
Msrp $46,575
Sale price: ? (not shared by dealer yet but when I plug numbers in in calculator it gives $35,800)
RV:? (not shared by dealer yet but calculator suggsts 57%)
MF: ? (not shared by dealer yet but Calculator suggets .00084)
Monthly: $318 (incl tax)
36/15K
Drive off: $5651 ($4000 deposit+$1651 first month, fees, etx…)
If so, I don’t know if you really need the other numbers. The deal looks excellent, and is amazing for 15k/yr. You’d be hard pressed to get a mid-level Toyota Camry or Honda Accord at that price.
Check the RV and MF on edmunds. If they are what the calc suggest then I will say this is solid deal for 36m/15K.
I assume MF 0.00084 is after 8 MSDs= 4000.
Actually what I did was I started by entering a residual value and MF that I got from other posts in Leasehakr and adjusted them to match the monthly payment. I know that this is not the best way but ultimately my goal was to see if the overall deal (monthly payment for 36/15k) makes a good deal or not, if that makes any sense?
Thank you so much. I actually found this specific car listed on the dealer’s website for sale for $34950, so it looks like I can lower the monthly payment by another $13 to $305…
Which is why I said the figures were ultimately unimportant.
It’s sometimes (and often) important to get RV, MF, etc. But those figure are only useful insofar that they to get us to the total cost of the lease (which presumably should also be given by the monthly and DAS). Even if this were a totally base C300 (which it’s not), it’s a great deal, IMHO.
Worth a try, but, if the car is eligible for new-car incentives, financing and leasing sometimes have different incentives.
I see. Got it. I really appreciate everyone weighing in on this.
By the way, If I go to 36/12k instaed of 15k (Don’t really need 15k miles) then the RV goes up to 56% and max MSDs go down to $3500, so payment would be $277. Am I doing this right?
