My Infiniti Q50 lease is ending in August and today I have received a letter with a personalized discount code with the above details, offer valid until beginning of April. I haven’t contacted my dealer yet, before doing that I wanted to see if anybody has received this offer and used it. Can you please share your experience, any limitations or traps?

I am not sure if I want an Infiniti again, mainly because of the very poor fuel economy, but if they give me a crazy deal (e.g. QX50 for minimal down and 199) I might think about it.

I received that letter too. Haven’t used it. I had a similar one for acura a few years back and it worked out well.

Any chance you could upload a picture of the letter (with the code cropped out of course)? Is the $2,000 eligible for leases? Any model restrictions?

I received a letter for the owner celebration event and the $1,000 offer was good for new purchases only. Leases weren’t eligible.

Good for leases. No restrictions are noted.

This is a random offer the IFS generates and send to existing lease holders. You can also add VPP on top of it. If you don’t qualify for it from work, just call customer relations and open a case where you request a VPP-A code which they will issue for customer satisfaction. I have done this so I know it does work.

Wait really, i can just call to get a VPP code? How much do those discount the car by?

Yes its possible, i have done it. I got turned down few times in summer but they were able to get it for in December. It was worth $1500.

Letter is saying up to 2000 towards lease and purchase.

Call Infiniti Consumer Affairs 800 662 6200 and ask them for a VPP code for an existing Infiniti lease holder or owner. Tell them to do it on a one time basis for customer satisfaction and that you getting into another Infiniti will depend on whether you get this code or not.

perfect, thanks so much, will try it next week, I think with all these additional discounts infiniti becomes interesting again. Even though not realistic, but hope that I can get some decent deals on their new qx50 when it comes out.

Yeah I am interested in the new QX50 as well as my lease is finishing. Wonder how much discount the dealers will give. Likely will be difficult since it is new

Infiniti is tough on new models lease, but with all these discounts we get it might be still ok. Another deal i am hoping for is when the new model comes out, that they discount the old model like crazy. I remember short before I leased my q50 there were some dealers leasing the old q40 for 99!! and 3k down, so lets wait and see.

Yeah but the old one isn’t very exciting. I had the G37 prior to the Q50 and getting into the old qx50 is like getting into the g37 again

I agree, old model is extremely dated and has horrible mpg but if i can get it for crazy deal, i will got for it. I cant help it, I am a deal hunter :smile:

I am curious though - if your lease doesn’t expire until August, what is the point of this? They’ll pay your last two payments, but that leaves 5… unless your payment is super cheap, this $2,000 isn’t going to help much.

My payment is super cheap, 259 but if I trade in my car at any point, I dont intend to pay any further payment beyond that point. I hope to combine all offers at once, loyalty + lease pull ahead + (thanks to HN308) VPP. lets wait and see how it works.

BTW you don’t need to check the mailbox.

Just call your local Infiniti dealer and give your name and VIN#. They can check and tell you right away.
