Permaplate Coverage

Lots of data points in the Marketplace that anyone could have taken just by texting the seller. For example

EQS580 SUV AWD - 24/7500
MSRP - 127950
2500 drive off - 630 plus tax
2500 drive off - max MSD - 565 plus tax

There are dealers that add items to every vehicle. Caveat emptor.

We strongly advise doing research before contacting a dealer, to know exactly what the lease should cost, and then make offers accordingly.

Sometimes you’ll still end up with some garbage baked in, but a larger discount is then required to meet your financial terms.

Enjoy the car, and use the time between now and your next lease to understand in detail how all of this works.

Do yourself a favor and just forget the permaplate ever existed.

Or, rather just pretend that it was inlcuded in your deal but for $0. Because that is exactly what happened. The dealer gave you an additional discount to offset the cost. The permaplate cost to you is effectively $0. If you do anything, thank the dealer for including it at no cost.

Since you are happy with the deal it’s a complete waste of time to worry about this any further or to somehow try and squeeze the dealer for anything else.

Thanks for all your valuable inputs !!

It seems to me that no one really cares about the residual value.
So folks do not want to keep the car beyond 2/3 years? Is it repair/maintenance cost or the drive to get behind a newer car, newer technology?

If you know upfront that your intention is keeping a car longer-term, you’re generally going to be better off financially just buying it upfront.

Unfortunately No, because these EQS’s depreciates insanely…

Sometimes you just gotta get the tru-coat

Hahahahahaaaa !!
This made my day

One of the top movie scenes ever!
