How is the buyout going to be $10K higher than the selling price of the vehicle plus taxes and fees? The OP is going to have to pay the same fees, except for acquisition fee, whether he leases or buys. The buyout is not 36 x monthly payment plus residual. If leasing through CCAP you don’t pay the full amount of the remaining payments when you buy out the vehicle. They don’t get the full rent charge portion of all the remaining payments. At least that is not what I was quoted when I asked for my lease buyout figure.
So I have a deal and was told My net cap is $53000 and monthly deprecation is $315 + Mo lease charge (APR) $396. Residual is $41000 so after 1 month paid on a buyout I would pay $53000 - $315 mo dep. I would be saving $396 each month that I buy early.
Sound about right?
What’s the MSRP? Just focus on getting the lowest sales price possible before incentives. That’s all that really matters if you’re going to buy it out immediately (plus using the right captive)
MSRP was $65230 - $17691 in incentives and rebates ![]()
