Sean, is the MF based on dealer location or lessee location for out-of-state lease?

Not exactly. Certain states get discounted (subvented) MF’s on certain models. My sheet has NJ/NY/CT/MI/OH/FL MF’s and the subvented ones are mostly the regular models. So if you’re not in one of those states and it’s one of the discounted models, you have to add .0003 to the MF.

Rsq8 lease makes no sense. I would rather just buy it at that point.
Paying 92k for 3 year lease when the car is selling for 132k but definitely would rather get that then Urus

  • I’ve pretty much wiped out every RS eTron GT and eTron GT within 125 miles of NYC (only like 2 possible cars for next month). It’s gonna be a battle now to get a good deal on one. Dec, I’m expecting a MF bump since inventory levels are much lower.

DEC UPDATE

  • AUDI and VW are mostly carry overs from last month, in order words they’re some of the best deals of the year.

  • Get in your deals early as dealers as monthend/yearend is always madness. Around Xmas, my hours will be limited as well as the rugrats will be home.

  • Q5 55’s, low inventory. Have to swap to get any 24’s.

  • Lots of Q3’s so we’re going pretty deep on them. Sample calc for a 36/7500 deal and NJ taxes, $451/mo + TTL.

JAN AUDI UPDATE

  • Surprisingly, deals are not that much worse than Dec.
  • Looks like discounts/rebates for the Q5 55 PHEV will continue. Been seeing some crazy 12 mos lease structures, but be careful and make sure to look at the effective monthly as shorter leases are sometimes a bit misleading. I’m keeping 36 mos terms posted just b/c some folks want the longer terms in case Trump pulls the $7500 EV/PHEV rebate. Inventory is low so discounts will vary and there might be some swap/trade costs factored in.
  • 24 leftovers, not a whole lot left so get them while you can. 25 inventory is not much more in most cases.

JAN VW UPDATE

  • Doing mostly 11% across the board
  • ID Buzz is here, but some dealers are getting over MSRP already. I have MSRP posted, but I might not be able to get you MSRP. I gotta say it’s one of the cooler cars/vans that has come out in a while.
  • ID4 recall has been lifted, but barely any inventory out there. I have 10% posted, but this might be a bit challenging since there is such little inventory.
