STUPID CHEAP VW ID4 - NYC METRO REGIONAL DEAL ONLY

VW has been running a $149/mo national ad, but the problem is no one has the cars available, but looks like one of my VW dealers is snagging a few and offered it up to me. The door handle fix hasn’t been applied yet so may take a week or two. Not sure if anyone uses the LH score, but this is a 16.5!!!

Wow, crazy deal.

I am in upstate NY and looking to get into a ID4 or Q4 etron.

Looks like these ID4 deals are only for the RWD. Have you seen any of the AWD versions have any decent deals? (The snow up here is real! lol)

There’s 2 posted one is AWD

:point_up_2::point_up_2: In case it was missed. @MacDaddy

Ya, I am blind. Lol

:person_facepalming:

The $82/mo ID4 RWD is sold now.

With current Audi lease, does adding Audicare boost the residual value anymore?

I don’t think it’s retroactive after you lease the car.

On new car deals, Audicare gives the residual a 1% higher bump so it offsets the cost, but this is dealer discretion to give it to you as a walk in. My dealers just give it to me on any deal. There are different tiers of service, but generally the higher the msrp, the more it makes sense.

2025 Q5 55e White on Black Premium popped up. Tough color to come by even at this discount right now. $472/mo + TTL for 36/7500. NJ calculator below.

OR 24 mos at $435/mo, but effective is slightly worse than 36 mos.

Exec demo RS etron GT
Black/black with about 9k miles. $154k MSRP car.
$1100/mo with $1100 for 25/7500 and NJ taxes. I’m still negotiating this one so it may end up more like $1080.

My $599 broker fee is separate.

Will post more details later, but have some 11.5% off leftover Q4 55’s. This is the cheapest one. Good only for today, but I suspect next month will also be solid.

12/7500, NJ taxes
$329/mo with $329 DAS + $3500 MSD’s.
My $599 broker fee is separate.

Is the sales tax on the hybrid the electric car tax rate?

No, in New Jersey hybrids do not get the discounted EV sales tax. They don’t get the annual EV fee either

How are the Q5e deals looking for DC this Feb?

Today is the last day of the Jan program so Feb isn’t out yet. Tomorrow it’ll be out, but takes a day or two get the pricing all setup for the month. 2024 inventory will be very limited so really looking at just 2025’s.

Just updated my sheet with the 2024 Q4 Etrons. There’s a Sportback in there as well. Have about 25 of them so if the program holds up tomorrow, should be deals on them into Feb.

People are asking me how these compare to the ZDX deals I have posted. I would say it’s a toss up b/c the Q4 is slightly nicer but the ZDX is slightly bigger. ID4’s and Prologues are somewhere in that conversation/debate as well.

Do you do any business in FL or just the NE?

Our dealers are mostly in the NY/NJ/MD areas. We do ship cars down to FL, but typically only makes sense on higher msrp cars.

The q4 deals prob don’t make sense when the cost is about $900.

Feb money factor on the 24 Q4’s went up from .00445 to .0046 so the deals are about $12-13 more than what I posted yesterday. Still very good deals. I’ll have the full sheet probably updated later today if I get a break from quote requests.

FEB UPDATE

  • Mostly a carry over month

  • Have a bunch of Q4 leftover 2024’s with a 12 mo lease special. The hack only works with states with low taxes like NJ, PA and NC. Lease must be structured with minimally $250/mo so you have to roll in the taxes and fees. My sheet has calculators with MSD’s so you can get to a base monthly of $88/mo, but when taxes and fees are rolled in it becomes more like $351 effective monthly with NJ taxes, 7500 miles and MSD’s. Out of region shipping doesn’t make sense if you’re dropping $1k just for a 12 mo lease.

  • VW, we’re out of ID4’s but the rest are pretty much 11.5% off except for the ID Buzz which apparently is going for over MSRP to walk in customers.
