Thank you Sean and Offsticker for securing my new Q7! Very responsive, worked with me to get the options I wanted and everything was smooth sailing at the dealer. In and out of the dealership within 45 mins, everything was ready to go. Thank you!

Season of Audi may be over, but great deals are still available. Dealer discount is a bit deeper and most MF/RV’s are better eventhough a lot of incentives are gone. Some highlights:

  • CURVE BALL - All 2021 SUVs 1st month payment waived. (Pro tip, roll taxes/bank/doc/reg or even Audicare into the monthly to get the monthly as high as possible).
  • Q3’s and Q5 pricing is still solid (Q5e supply very tight tho)
  • Some low MSRP SQ5’s are starting to roll in from the port

FYI, if you’re looking for a very specific build, that’s no problem. I’m running locates all the time to move cars around from the dealers in the tri-state.

A customer asked me how the first month waived would work. Here is an example for a 2021 SQ5 for the DIY’ers on LH

Here is the calculator with NJ taxes:

Before waiving the 1st month, it would look like this:

Monthly Payment: $533
Drive-Off: $3,974

  • First Month Payment: $533
  • Down Payment: $0
  • Upfront Fees: $1,919 (bank/doc/reg
  • Upfront Taxes: $1,522

With 1st mo waived, I just backout the 1st mo from the drive-off.
Monthly Payment: $533
Drive-Off: $3441

  • Upfront Fees: $1,919 (bank/doc/reg
  • Upfront Taxes: $1,522

We’re still early in the month so if you want a car with specific options, it’s best to look now. Dealers are more willing to trade with each other for the first 3 weeks of any month. 4th week, they get very tight and hold onto their inventory for walk in customers.

Pricing is not any better at monthend than now for broker deals so there’s no point in waiting. In fact, deals are typically worse at monthend b/c I can only do in stock direct deals and chances are likely that it’ll be a car with options you don’t want or need.

Question on your spreadsheet, how are you calculating the EV Tax credit on models like the e-tron? I’m assuming based on the listed incentive for most of them at $7500 that that is where it is going. Just wanted to confirm! Thanks!

Etron and etron SB is $7500. Other models like the A7e and Q5e are $6712. Even though it’s a federal rebate, the car manufacturer isn’t required to pass it all onto the end consumer which I think is bogus.

I would agree. For purchasing, it’s always passed on to the customer since they can claim it on their taxes, but for leasing its always been fuzzy. I’ve always felt if a dealer wasn’t willing to pass that on to their customers as part of the lease deal, then that dealer wasn’t worth doing business with. Thanks for the quick response. I had never considered leasing an e-tron before, but after seeing the number in your spreadsheet, I have to do some more serious homework!

Let me know whenever you’re ready. I think the best value is the 2020 Etron SB P+ right now. Over 20% overall discount. Not many left tho.

Are those still leasing well if it’s a 24 month term? Over here 36

Sorry, 24mos is always much worse. On the 2021 e-tron the monthly goes from $613 + tax/fees to $715 + tax/fees.

Gotcha! Must of been a season of Audi/Costco timing thing

Summer Costco Auto deal was unicorn since the discounts were stackable:

Premium Plus: 10% Pre-incentive discount (plus any addition negotiation- 2% was pretty easy since Costco’s incentive structure to dealership), $7500 Audi Lease Cash, $7500 Dealer marketing allowance, $2000 Audi Loyalty

Prestige: 10% Pre-incentive discount (plus any addition negotiation- 2% was pretty easy since Costco’s incentive structure to dealership), $7500 Audi Lease Cash, $9500 Dealer marketing allowance, $2000 Audi Loyalty.

On 24 months, the Audi Loyalty $2000, dropped monthly by $83/month.

Got a nice Q7 deal from one of my newer Audi sales guys. It’s deeper than my other dealers, but it’s very much a teaser deal on just this 1 car. I don’t really like doing teaser deals since it somewhat sets a bad precedent, but just trying to help him out.

2021 Q7 45 TFSI
$58230 Carrara White/Brown with Convenience
9.2% dealer discount
36/10k
$668/mo plus tax/bank/doc/reg

My normal $399 broker fee would apply

Saw that you can do Socal deals. Your calculators has a $595 doc fee, but for CA I think the doc fee is usually around $85-100. How does the pricing work for your Socal deals then?

Good question… so Socal prices deals a bit differently than the east coast. To make things simple, they just asked me to use a $100 doc fee and $500 for reg. But the dealer discount is also different. I’m doing this deal right now for a Socal customer which happens to be much deeper than my east coast deals.

2021 Q3 45 TFSI S line quattro F3BCEA - $44,765

PNY - Technology package, RAB - Audi Beam - rings, U25 - 19" wheel package, WPS - Premium Plus package

LH calculator: https://tinyurl.com/y5kl96bs
Pre-tax Monthly Payment: $433
Monthly Payment with Tax: $466
Drive-Off: $2,077 (1st mo pretax gets waived so subtract $433, net $1644)

  • First Month Payment: $466
  • Down Payment: $0
  • Upfront Fees: $1,495 ($895 bank, $100 doc, $500 reg)
  • Upfront Taxes: $116

======================================
I’d say right now my Socal dealers are doing about $15-30/mo cheaper than east coast deals on my below sheet, but their inventory is more limited b/c I can’t really trade to get whatever car like I can here in the tri-state.

HUGE thanks to OSP Sean for hooking it up with a Q5 P+. I couldn’t believe I could be so lazy (but safe) and setup the entire deal from my couch at home. Took about a week and the car magically showed up with lease papers ready to sign on the spot. Wifey loves the car. Dealership numbers matched exactly what he quoted me and I appreciate the advice on turning down Audicare. Who wants to pay $360/yr for an oil change? Make mucho sense). Will be on the hunt for a S5 SportBack later this year so please help me again!

Someone asked me why I don’t have Prestige trims listed on my sheet. The reason is that any Prestige trim model has a 1-2% lower residual value and that automatically makes it lease worse than a Premium Plus trim. Often you can find a fully loaded Premium Plus that has the same MSRP of a Prestige and it’ll lease $35-50/mo less. P+ is just a better value generally speaking.

Is 42mos an option for these leases? Ship to west coast?
