Hey all. I currently drive a KIA Seltos SX that is leased until August for 24mo @ 10k/y. I recently fell in love with the EV6 Wind and would absolutely love to get into one.

I was hoping for in the ~350-375/mo range & \<1k DAS for 10k/y @ 36mo Is this a good/realistic deal?

Im not a master negotiator, and I have ~1.5k negative equity on my current lease, so is this even possible? from feeling the market out it seems like i wont be able to get in under 450.

I’ve messed around with [Ratefindr and the Calculator](https://leasehackr.com/calculator?make=Kia&miles=10000&msrp=54360&sales_price=50555&months=36&mf=0.00096&msd=0&dp=0&dealer_fee=200&acq_fee=650&disp_fee=400&taxed_inc=17200&untaxed_inc=0&rebate=0&resP=47&gov_fee=100&sales_tax=8&demo_mileage=0&memo=2024%20Kia%20EV6%20Wind%20AWD&tradein=0&fin_sp=54360&fin_taxed_fee=0&fin_untaxed_fee=0&fin_term=60&fin_apr=0&fin_dp=0&fin_rebate=0&fin_ps_rebate=0&fin_tax=0&keep_term=60&exp_rv=0&service_fee=0&monthlyTax_radio=true&cap_tax=true&bmw_demo_25=true&lease_result_mode=true&pretax_monPmt=332&lease_das=659) and it seems like this is theoretically possible. Thoughts?

I would keep the Seltos until Aug and try again later.

If you like throwing $1000+ away just because ‘you fell in love’ well go for it.

Not sure if you can get $350 with 1k das in OH. Maybe a Niro but an EV6? That’s a bit of a reach.

Basically where I am at now. My major thought process right now is two things: 1) will i realistically get a 17k rebate on an ev6 in august? 2) like I said, not a master negotiator, never will be. That being said, dealers are throw 2-3k under msrp like it’s no big deal. To clear inventory, i presume.

Will either of these things be the case in august? Is it worth “throwing away” 1k when I’m still netting 2k under msrp on a car?

Wait until August. If you fell in love with an EV6 I’m sure you will fall in love again with something else soon.
