Off Topic Landfill 5

Hes done stuff like this in the past before too. Wouldnt work with him again.

And no broker wants to work with you either my man. They already know your reputation

Ps how’s the resale value on that gmc vs a $72k white tundra pro currently? :joy: The pro is still worth 70ish

Idk where you pulling numbers from. Tundra trd pro are below 60k rn. Pulling it from your ass like usual

There’s 5 used white tundra pros for sale in the country and they range from 71900-79k. New pros in white are selling at msrp still from 75-78.

Sure thats retail price but you could easily sell it for 68-69.

I’ll buy all the pros you find me for under 60k. Maybe with 100k miles and a 2022 would be around there

Not in the market for another Tundra, but if he gets you more than 1 for under 60k I’ll gladly be twinning with ya.

We were talking used ones. New ones are easily at msrp. They will even discount them 1-2k.

You got it. We’ll be driving them together in fantasy land!

Do you not realize all the financial “analysis” you parrot from other parts of the internet are mostly antisemitic dog whistles?

Instead of “the Jews running wall st did it” it’s “blackrock and Goldman did it” ie Larry Fink and Lloyd Blankfein and David Solomon did it.

Instead of “the Jewish cabal controlling the global financial system” it’s “the cabal controlling the global financial system“

Etc etc

All the dog whistlers know they don’t have to literally say Jew to make the antisemitic point they want to make.

Here’s a trusted hacker trying to bait me into an argument and get off topic. Way to go max you did exactly what the owners of the site just asked us not too and you’re here to supposedly moderate.

Warren buffet and bill gates are Jewish? I had no idea. I blame them for many issues as well. What about bogel at vanguard? Just bc I don’t like what blackrock state street vanguard etc are doing doesn’t mean my criticism of them is antisemetic. That’s a defensive mechanism people use so you can’t criticize the financial industry and it’s just stupid.

Some people don’t always understand what they’re parroting is a dog whistle. And some people just double down on dog whistles. Your call.

Serial off topic derailer all upset about an off topic comment all of a sudden? Oh the irony

I’ve been trying to stay out of this thread because generally even I am tired of things getting derailed by politics, you can see in slow motion when it’s going to happen, as it builds, and it’s annoying

That being said, pretty disparaging to call someone anti-semitic because they take issue with the way a couple of CEO’s run their companies.

I also think Blackrock and Goldman play potentially dangerous games with our economy. I’m Jewish. Am I an anti-semite too?

You’re noticing things.

Big Brother doesn’t like it when you notice things.
You wouldn’t like Big Brother when he’s mad.

An antisemite chosing to live in the middle of Miami Beach. That would be irony
no need to keep discussing this. Michael and violette asked that we don’t engage in such debate and that’s what should happen. You being a moderator, you should be respecting that more than anyone else. I pay to conduct business here and will do the same.

Why did I open this thread

I agree. Racism, anti-semitism, hate in general and any kind of dog whistle have zero place anywhere, but this “call out” of @Jrouleau426 by @max_g was totally bizarre at best. Jumping from some of the anti-capitalist rants and/or economic conspiracy theories of @Jrouleau426 to those also being anti-semite dog whistles is left field insanity.

I myself have challenged him on some of his wacky economic principles but never saw them as a racist or anti-semitic. To say that he is also possibly parroting economic theories unknowingly as a clueless purveyor of abhorrent dog whistles that are rooted in that same hate is also a huge (and unfounded) leap based upon what I have seen.

Honestly, it bothers me more as a Jewish person that people throw around the term antisemite so loosely in examples like this when there are much more clear and present real examples of it happening daily, it trivializes what is actually a real problem.

We’ve got people in the streets 40 minutes from my home chanting to kill the jews but James having a problem with Larry Fink is the real problem evidently.

So, do we want to wait for the “by any means possible” crowd to get their wish? You realize that every major disaster started out at a grass roots level? Yes, little talk and dog whistles qualify as such.

I’m sorry but this post should have you immediately stripped of any authority around here. Just an absolutely insane thing for a “moderator” of a forum to say on a normal basis, much less in a thread about the banning of political speech.

It’s not like anyone in that crowd was born that way. Chances are, they are there because of conspiracy theories they started to read online.

Jim’s idea that we should leave a thread open for him and his fellow theorists to go open season is the dumbest idea I’ve heard in here.

Plenty of places online for everyone to find their own soapbox and echo chamber, why die on the hill of making it LH? Like you said plenty of problems IRL but evidently the right to ruin LH is the biggest cause 5 people care about rn

Who exactly do you think I’m talking about?
