Manufactured crisis or not…prices would have went up regardless

You said, and I quote:

THERE IS A REASON THESE BROKERS KEEP COMING BACK WITH LOWER PRICES. BUT THEY ARE STILL PLAYING YOU. REMEMBER ABOUT 3 YEARS AGO THE EXACT MSRP VEHICLES WERE GOING FOR ABOUT $700 A MONTH OR BELOW. IT IS OBVIOUS THEY ARE JUST PLAYING AROUND WITH
YOU THE PEOPLE . CAUSE IF THEY MADE MONEY BEFORE THEY ARE JUST GREEDY NOW AND WANT MORE MONEY NOW FOR THE EXACT VEHICLE THAT WENT BELOW $700 A FEW YEARS BACK!

well you are just coming back with what your dealers are giving you to give to the people! but you should also see its all about greed if only about 3-6 months ago the exact same car was $1000 a month. it is coming down cause sales are coming down for these companies.

Prices are what they are, we help people pay less, arguably what it was 3 years ago was to cheap, now it’s too expensive, Hopefully we balance out at a reasonable medium eventually, but you also need to remember the base MSRP of an X5 is nearly $8k more than it was before. Even with programs all the same as 3 years ago, it would still be more per month.

Anyway, guess my thread is acting as a temporary landfill. Let’s all have a blast.

keep making your money. there isn’t really any wrong on your part.

Well, that is not what you said.

If you want to skip using a broker, I can give you the number for a few hundred BMW dealers in the US that would welcome you to come in on the floor and pay what they are asking.

Just let me know!

and that’s fair. but also what is unfair is seeing a $131K msrp vehicle going for the same as a $80K msrp vehicle. am I the only one that sees this as a complete BS? it is obvious its just movements of numbers no matter how it is being justified!

man I explained myself after. what I said was simple. if its complicated for you to understand you will be the same doofus that pays $1000 a month for a 65K msrp vehicle and see that same one going for $600 in another few months. to you “inflation” and “interest rates” makes sense more than common sense of just not paying absurd prices.
