I live 6 hours away and was supposed to e-sign docs and ship the car down. Was surprised with this pretty last minute.
These short-term payments look enticing but you can only smear the upfronts across 13 months.
And you’ll have to pay for an entire second year of CA registration ($1,000ish) for month #13 only.
Once you add in 7.75-10.5% sale tax you’re probably looking at a monthly outlay of close to double the payment.

I called MBFS today and they (pending) successfully extended my 13-month lease to 19 months on 2 of the 3 EQS in my household. All they need is my new MB purchase order, which the dealer should give me by tomorrow!
I did ask them about the mileage being extended but the representative couldn’t confirm if it would be 1,000 per month as another member suggested on here or the same as the original contract.
Edit: If you order a vehicle with a long wait time or super high MSRP, you can extend up to 2 vehicles. Ordered a GLS63 with an MSRP of under $162K. Wait time is 18 months. lol

How far into your eqs leases are you that you called now? I would have waited until month 11 or 12 before calling to extend. Just curious as to why you did it this way.
He put too much money in his tints and wheels to give it back after 12 months

What is the cancellation policy for such orders - would you know?
Well GLS Has 18 month wait so by the time my lease would end, GLS should be here in time. If I did it later, I’d have a gap between eqs and GLS.
Luckily wheels are same spec as many MB and BMWs so they can be sold easily lol

Thanks for the clarification. One more question, do you actually plan on getting the GLS or is that simply something you want to get but will abandon if you can’t get a good deal on it? I’d like to take the same course of action but would not want to commit if I had to pay sticker.
You lose the deposit and I’m paying invoice on GLS as part of the deal with the dealer.
Yup agreed! I was looking at G wagon but that’s solid 2.5-3 year wait.
