Perhaps “guideline” would have been a more fitting word. The point is that it fits my budget. Life is short, and you never know when you’re going to kick the bucket, or have an accident that makes you incapable of driving. I wanted to experience my dream of owning an electric car while I am still able-bodied. I am glad that I did.
I’m curious what makes you think it isn’t a good idea. Surely you don’t claim to know my financial situation?
