The middle part of the post was irrelevant to the topic at hand: America had just as many slack jawed yokels before 1/2017.
As for attaining driver license. Maybe it should be made more difficult as people have less legitimate reason to be out and about Willy Nilly in the current landscape.

Went for the two for the price of one Audi Etron Prestige last night. I agreed not to share the lease deal. I like the car more than I thought, having never seen one up close before. The dealership experience was extremely disappointing and they won’t get repeat business from me in two years.
