Noob question: are the discounts people mention re BMWs on this forum taken off Total Price MSRP, which includes the $995 destination charge, or As Built MSRP, which doesn’t?

Certainly it matters whether the price quote includes destination too, but I just want to make sure I’m not asking for too much or too little.
