Silly question, I thought Polestar had direct to consumer/online purchase business model like Tesla. Do Volvo dealers carry them in their inventory and discount them?

From my experience booking a Polestar 2, I worked out the lease deal with the dealer, presumably they could choose how much discount to give, and then I had to go to the Polestar site and reserve a specific unit, which then would be shipping to the dealer for me to pick up. I guess if they had had a unit in stock, we could have done the deal on the spot though.

edit: with that said, if you just call dealers, they will act like its direct-to-consumer and the price online is the price.

Nonsense question but what are leases like for the EX30? Wife is in love with the car but she wants to lease it. Can’t imagine Volvo is pushing any incentives on that

Unfortunately Polestar did get worse, but they have removed the conquest rebate.

Volvo XC40s are very hot.
